Irish Winter Series Round #1
"The first round of the Irish Winter Series took place at Leitrim Lodge, the course was about a kilometer long mountain track with a couple of fast turns and a really fast and rocky end section. The day started with a few practice runs, then we got down to the timed runs, you had two goes but if you missed a gate the run was counted as void. In the open category John McGuckin took first with a time just under one minute thirty, Gary Parr came second only one second behind, and Matt Shaw took third just three seconds behind the leader. In the U12 Leo Gorman came first with a time just over two minutes."
