Craig Anthony Hickman - AKA Blubs

"Born 26th of august 1994 in the town of Willenhall, UK. Battled with asthma for the first 7 yrs of his life. Took up kiting in 2001. Started flying arcs/depower boarding/buggying in in 2002. Took up sport and single line kites in 2004.Started kite surfing in 2006.



Craig is an active lad with one thing on his mind! kites.. every waking hour he thinks/talks kites, he has recently eneterd his first freestyle compertion and got knocked out in the second round due to not having his own kites with him and ending up out there way over powered on a 12m Phantom when in reality he should have been on a 9m so he ended up pulling his saftey before he got into any trouble with it as he was aware that the wind was steadly rising (was 20+ mph when he pulled his safety). He has ridden with some of the UK''s top riders (buggy/board and kite surf) and all are amazed by his kite control and kite awareness!. He currently has 6m/9m/12m Peter Lynn Phantoms and the use of my Flexifoil Blade 4''s and Rages."  bio by Proud Dad Mr. Hickman




First Hungarian Mountainboard Event

"We have proceeded with the first Hungarian mountainboard gathering. I think a pretty good beginning for a less than one year old sport in the country. Serbian Junior Competition

"Here are some photos from a recent freestyle competiton I've organized for junior riders (boys from 12- 14y.o.) on a small kicker. Best trick was high tail grab. We will keep riding so I believe some of them will soon kick 180s. We are slowly growing and hoping to attend some European junior competions next summer."

Before every ride it is important to inspect and if necessary tighten hardware on your board. Not only is this something you need to do from a safety perspective but it will also enhance the performance of your board. A tight board will have more precise performance characteristics.
